Hi All, So this is a quick video just showing the progress of the build. I will be using this to play Emulators from Atari to Playstation2. Now I still need to invest in a monitor for the system so can go upto 19 inch , and also need to see whether everything fits as I think it will be very tight. If it doesn't then back to drawing board adn will possibly need to invest in a micro atx Oh and I need to find some ram will probs still with 8gb I think I have 1 lying around somewhere. Yes this system is slightly overkill and you can use a Rasperry Pi3 with this, so that might be a way to go in future. Hope you enjoyed seeing the progress so far. I will include the costs of what I have paid so far and any links to the products used: -  1) Aracde Bar Kit £69 ( with delivery) - 2) USB PC Speakers  £6.99 - 3) Inlet Switch £2.85 - 4)Magnetic Catch £1.99- 5) Piano Hinge £5.98 -   6) PC Motherboard on/off switch £1.90 - 7) PCB Mounting feet - £5.69 - 8) Modesty blocks £3.99 - 9) Screws £3.85 - 10) Arcade buttons & Joystick 2player £41.99 - 11) SSD 240gb - £28.79 - 12) CPU Cooler - £7.99 - ARCTIC Alpine 12 CO - CPU Cooler for Intel Sockets for Continuous Operation, with 92 mm PWM Fan, up to 100 Watts Cooling Power, PWM Sharing Technlogy 13) Motherboard ( already had spare from previous pc upgrades) 14) CPU _ I5 £25.00 UPDATED 15) 500w PSU - £37.00 16) GTX970 Graphics card - already had from previous upgrade 17) External HDD 8tb ( emulators take approx 2tb of space)  ?external=aHR0cHM6Ly9yZXZpdmFsLWZveC5zMy5ldS13ZXN0LTEuYW1hem9uYXdzLmNvbS9maWxlL2F0dGFjaG1lbnQvMjAyMC8wOC82ZjFiMTQ2M2U2NWEwZjAwMWJjOTM0YTI0OGU4M2UwM192aWV3LmpwZw== ?external=aHR0cHM6Ly9yZXZpdmFsLWZveC5zMy5ldS13ZXN0LTEuYW1hem9uYXdzLmNvbS9maWxlL2F0dGFjaG1lbnQvMjAyMC8wOC80MWUzMzVjOGI3NThkZGZmOTZhODdiMzJjNTA2NWQ0NV92aWV3LmpwZw== Update 12/08/2020 Received the CPU as it was the wrong one i.e. didnt fit the motherboard. Plugged in the power supply, to get everything running and start installing windows, this is when the PSU spins its fan then stops then starts again. So I believe this to be a faulty Power unit. I have ordered a new one so hopefully will be with me on Friday. The build is becoming expensive but for first attempts it was bound to happen.
